Using Wrote
These Terms apply to Wrote accounts, social and messaging features, wrote.sh, and related services operated by Wrote. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Apple’s standard app license also applies to the iOS app, as described on our EULA page.
Eligibility and account security
You must meet the minimum age shown below and any higher age required in your region. If local law requires a parent or guardian’s agreement, obtain it before using Wrote. You must provide a contact you control and keep your login credentials secure. Do not buy, impersonate, or deceptively transfer accounts, or share login codes with others.
Your content and permissions
You retain rights you hold in your content. You give Wrote the permission needed to store, process, transmit, and display it to provide the features and audiences you choose. This permission ends when the content is removed from the service, except for reasonable backup/retention needs, legal obligations, and copies shared with others. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload content.
Do not infringe others’ rights, publish private personal information without permission, distribute malicious software, spam, defraud, threaten, exploit children, or evade restrictions. The Community Guidelines explain our content rules in more detail.
Safety and enforcement
We may investigate reports, restrict content, limit functionality, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect users and the service. Serious or urgent risks may require action without advance notice. You can ask for review through the Safety & abuse department, with the relevant account/content details.
Wrote is not an emergency service. If someone faces immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services in your location.
Purchases and Grams
Premium, Grams, gifts, and paid content are optional and may not be available until enabled in your version of Wrote. When an App Store purchase is offered, the product, total price, duration, and renewal terms shown by Apple govern that transaction. See Purchases & refunds. Grams are a limited digital balance for supported Wrote features, have no cash-redemption right, and are not a bank balance or investment. Purchased Grams do not expire solely with the passage of time.
Wrote discretionary refund requests must be received within seven calendar days of purchase as described in Purchases & refunds. Apple’s refund process and mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Availability and changes
We work to maintain the service, but availability can be affected by maintenance, network conditions, security events, and third-party services. Features may change. We will provide required notice and remedies for material changes to paid services as applicable law requires. Do not rely on Wrote as the only copy of important information.
Ending your use
You may stop using Wrote and initiate deletion in the app. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; manage subscriptions in your Apple Account. Necessary legal/transaction records and content held independently by recipients may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Applicable law determines the courts, remedies, and procedures available for a dispute.
Contact and updates
Contact contact@wrote.sh or use our contact form. We will publish updated Terms with their effective date and give any notice required for material changes. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
